About Us - National Black Women's Health Conference

The inaugural National Black Women's Health Conference titled, “I Am Every Woman” will be held in the beautiful city of Atlanta, Georgia May 1-3, 2008 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel downtown. This is an opportunity for dynamic African American women from all across the United States and beyond to come together to discuss issues affecting our community. Our goal is to target and influence African American women who are disproportionately affected by major health issues and illnesses. This conference is also an opportunity for concerned medical and health professionals, business professionals, community leaders and the population at large to come together to discuss and find resolve for some of the many health issues affecting the welfare of the black woman.  You can look forward to an exciting mix of workshops, networking opportunities and special events. We hope to empower and enlighten African American women and help them learn to live healthy and active lives.
