Rules and restrictions of Raffle: All participants of the Mercedes Benz C 350 raffle must be a paid registrant of the National Black Women’s Health Conference. If conference does not sell a minimum of 300 raffle tickets and/or deem that the adjusted cost of vehicle exceeds the aggregate collected, then conference will provide a full refund to all registrants that have purchased raffle tickets. There is no set limit on the number of tickets any one person may purchase.
Winner of raffle prize is responsible for sales tax, title, registration fees and any local or luxury tax that may be imposed on the vehicle. All applicable taxes must be paid in full before winner takes possession of vehicle and before title is transferred. Tax, title and registration fees may vary from county to county and state to state. Winner has ten (10) days from the date prize is awarded to pay all applicable taxes, title, registration, and transfer fees.
In the event that the winner cannot oblige the conference rules and regulations of the raffled vehicle and pay all taxes and title charges, then the conference will name an alternate winner from its pool of registered participants. Conference is not responsible for providing insurance on the vehicle. There will be no refunds awarded other than the conditions noted earlier in paragraph one. All raffle ticket sales are final.
All raffle proceeds will benefit the Black Health Medical Research Foundation, a Georgia 501 C (3) organization. The Black Health Medical Research Foundation provides scholarships and internships to worthy African American candidates in the fields of medicine, science and communications.
